I have attached a picture of our Iberis(Candytuft) gallons.  Aren’t the gorgeous?  If you were thinking of ordering some, now is the time.  With all of this warm weather, they are growing quickly!

I just wanted to share with you some of the things we’re seeing here around Plantworks Nursery.  This warm weather has really pushed some of our perennials and they are starting to look fabulous.  I have attached some pictures of the Delphiniums, Poppies, and our Osteospermums.  Notice those beautiful buds on the Delphiniums!  Once they pop open, they will be that beautiful electric blue color.  I can’t wait!  These are all great flowering plants that like this combination cool/warm weather we’ve been getting for early Spring.

This is exciting stuff!

This is a great marketing opportunity for you if you have customers that are environmentally conscious. These pots are completely biodegradable and you can plant them directly into the soil.

I have one more piece of news. If you buy anything from our Burpee line, we will provide free POP Signage for you. We have banners, large signs, bench cards, and bench tape. Not to mention, each plant will have a nice Burpee informational tag inside the pot.

We have a busy couple of months ahead of us, and before you know it, it will be Springtime(which after this cold weather, I know you’re ready for)!

First of all, a couple of reminders.

Next, I’d like to tell you about some of our new ventures we are starting in 2012.

This year, we will not only be growing vegetables through the Burpee program, but also flowers!  What does this mean, you ask?  Well, do you remember the SoilWrap pots we’ve been talking about?  The Burpee program is offering a line of flowers that we will be growing in this SoilWrap.  This is brand new this year, and very exclusive.  We are excited to be trying this and offering these great plants to you.  Very soon, I will have a complete listing of the vegetables and flowers we will be offering this year.

Also, we have revised the list of combination planters we will be selling this year.  We will have a Spring offering of planters, and we will do some in the Fall, as well.  I can’t wait to share these with you.  I will have a list and description available for you very soon.

Just wanted to remind you that Plantworks will be closed starting on Friday December 23rd and we will not reopen until Monday January 2nd.

We hope you have a wonderful Holiday Season, and a Happy New Year!

Just a reminder that we will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday November 24th and Friday November 25th. We will reopen on Monday November 28th.

This will affect our trucking schedule. We will only send trucks out on Tuesday and Wednesday, so it is imperative that you get your orders in ASAP if you want something next week.
